SUNDAY 25TH SEPTEMBER 2011
We had a fantastic day on Sunday 25th September 2011 at Golden Square, Warrington where we held our Phoenix Dog Rescue Fundraising and Awareness Day thanks to Sophie and all the Staff at LUSH sorting it all for us. They had been raising funds for us the week before and also arranged a fundraising Dog Walk between 9 and 10 a.m on the Sunday morning. They provided refreshments at the end of the walk for both humans and dogs, and a LUSH goody bag and doggy treat bag for those taking part in the walk.
We held our stall from 10.30 a.m and we had a lot of support from the public. We also had a cuddly life-sized (human!) dog walking round giving out PDR balloons and carrying a collecting tin. Thank you to everyone who took part in the walk and came along to support us on the day. Our dogs really appreciate the funds raised as every penny goes towards their needs.
